The Design-Build Approach
1. The Initial Consultation
We begin by discussing your space, lifestyle, and aesthetic preferences. I focus on understanding how you intend to use the piece and the flow of your room to ensure perfect proportions and durability.
2. 3D Drafting & Design
Before any wood is cut, I provide comprehensive 3D CAD models. This allows you to visualize the exact scale, joinery, and design details in your space, eliminating decision fatigue and guaranteeing the final result.
3. Material Selection & Deposit
Once the design is approved, we finalize the selection of premium, locally sourced hardwoods (such as elm, hard maple, or white oak). A 50% materials deposit secures your place in the build schedule.
4. The Build & Delivery
Your piece is handcrafted in my Fort Collins shop utilizing traditional joinery and meticulous finishing techniques. Upon completion, I personally deliver and install the work in your home.
