Bioinformatics Projects
My projects span a range of bioinformatics innovations, including the development of DRAM2 and COMET pipelines, which enhance computational efficiency and scalability for metagenomic and genomic data analysis. I created a versatile script for the Joint Genome Institute (JGI) to automate data retrieval, significantly reducing manual effort. The TnSeq Metabolic Pathway Analysis project focuses on identifying metabolic pathways in bacteria using transposon sequencing data. Reads2Resistome, an integrated pipeline, streamlines the analysis of bacterial DNA for antimicrobial resistance and virulence factors, improving reproducibility and reducing user error. These projects collectively demonstrate my commitment to advancing genomic research through cutting-edge computational tools and collaborative efforts.
